Research Interests:

My research aim is to reduce the health impact of environmental pollution on individuals. My research interests are:

1. Health impact of air pollution exposure

2. Air pollution modeling

3. Low-cost air quality measurements 

 

Research Experience

Graduate Research Assistant, Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA (2023-Present)

• Modeling personal exposure to air pollutants in Greater Boston 

• Analyzed, prepared, and updated inputs for APEX 

• Explored model outputs to find out population groups that are more exposed to air pollution  

• Deployed low-cost air quality sensors in Brookline for iSUPER project 

• Facilitated an air quality scavenger hunt with students from La Colaborativa 

 

Professional Experience

Junior Environmental Engineer, TYPSA Group, Dhaka, Bangladesh (2022-2023)

• Preparing IEE and EIA reports on baseline environmental conditions and anticipated environmental impacts for the feasibility study of several projects.  

• Processing geospatial data to facilitate decision-making for environmental and economic aspects of potential infrastructure projects of Bangladesh Bridge Authority.
