A nanobiomimetic platforms is essential for high-sensitive homogeneous bioassays system that capable of ultimately mimicking the physiological environment toward drug discovery.
We have constructed a biomimetic platforms based on an artificial cell membrane nanoarray on biocompatible nanopatterns, and tested the feasibilities for high throughput drug screening. Our nanowell array-based artificial cell membrane nanoarray is expected to be accurate as a result of its diagnostics ability for a single molecule, in addition to the fact that super-parallelization is possible.
Regarding high throughput, electrochemical detection is expected to be faster than the current art of optical detection, thus the addressable lipid raft nanoarray device is expected to shorten the development period of drug discovery.
