SUMMARY:Crossroads Moments: Entrepreneurship and Career Growth in Unpredictable Times
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Galante Engineering Business Program this Thursday\, February 9th in welcoming Eric Weiss (LinkedIn) as seminar guest speaker & workshop presenter. Eric is currently the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Radial Analytics (Website)\, a healthcare software technology company whose mission is to develop decision support solutions using Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence to target “crossroads moments” in patient care – times in a patient’s medical journey when thoughtful intervention maximally impacts the overall trajectory of their medical care. His own career has been defined by such crossroads moments – from choosing to withdraw from Medical School weeks before starting\, to moving from coast-to-coast to start a Harvard-MIT PhD program\, to dropping out of school to found his first company\, to overcoming imposter syndrome in the world of software technology. His story is an honest personal take on entrepreneurship\, success-driven culture\, and finding strength in unpredictable times through acknowledging and embracing our weaknesses. \nFor his presentation\, Eric will outline his own non-traditional career journey\, including the crossroads moments that have defined his career path. He will speak to the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship and will speak more generally to the value of managing our professional careers with an entrepreneurial spirit\, especially in unpredictable times. \nThis event will take place in Egan Research Center room 240\, Raytheon Amphitheater from 6:30-8:00pm. Attire is business formal. \nRSVP
