DESCRIPTION:CEM is a leading research hub on issues facing public and private organizations in emerging economies. It has over 60 faculty fellows across Northeastern and supports student immersion in emerging markets through field studies\, co-ops\, startups\, conferences\, and research projects. \nCEM is currently accepting applicants to our twice-annual student grants program\, which awards grants ranging from $1\,000 to $3\,000 to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in full-time programs to conduct research\, organize a conference\, create a startup\, participate in a service-learning project\, or pursue an innovative project that addresses pressing problems in one or more emerging markets. Applications are entertained on a rolling basis and are open to students from all colleges and schools at Northeastern U. SUMMARY:3rd New England Hardware Security Day (NEHWS)
DESCRIPTION:New England Hardware Security (NEHWS) Day workshop brings together many students\, researchers\, practitioners\, and industry partners in the field of hardware security to share their work and foster new ideas. \nThe annual event is jointly organized by faculty at Northeastern University\, UMass Amherst\, Worcester Polytechnic Institute\, Yale University\, Massachusetts Institute of Technology\, and University of New Hampshire. NEHWS attracts a hardware-security focused community of participants from academia and industry\, offering a vibrant environment for researchers and engineers to share their latest research and development advances and engage in networking. \nNEHWS 2023 will be held as a one-day workshop on April 7\, 2023 in the Raytheon Amphitheater at Northeastern University. It will feature invited talks\, poster sessions\, panels\, student forums\, and industry engagement sessions. Students will have the opportunity to receive travel grants sponsored by the National Science Foundation. \nRegistration is free.
