9th Annual Research and Industrial Collaboration Conference and THz Imaging and Spectroscopy Workshop

The RICC is the perfect setting for dialogue among members of the academic, industrial and government communities interested in collaboration in subsurface sensing and imaging. This year's RICC will focus on several areas that are of great interest to the Gordon-CenSSIS community.

Gordon-CenSSIS presents the 9th annual Research and Industrial Collaboration Conference (RICC) on Wednesday, October 29th and Thursday, October 30th atNortheastern University in Boston, MA. This year's RICC will feature the launching of the new Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence for Awareness and Localization of Explosives-Related Threats (ALERT).

Following these talks, lunch will be served and students will present their research in a poster session. In addition there will be a celebration of ALERT with speakers from DHS and state government.

Day Two will be a workshop focused on Terahertz Wave Imaging and Spectroscopy. The workshop will focus on terahertz sensing for homeland security, defense, industrial, medical and other applications. It will feature invited talks by various top researchers in the field.
