COE Alum appointed President of Millipore's Bioscience Division

Jon DiVincenzo, a '88 graduate with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, has been appointed President of Millipore's Bioscience Division and member of its Corporate Executive Committee.

Before Millipore, Mr. DiVincenzo worked for Orion Research (now part of ThermoFisher Scientific) as Product Manager and Technical Support Engineer and for General Electric Corporation in thermodynamics engineering. He served as Corporate Officer of Millipore Corporation. Mr. DiVincenzo served as the Member of the Management Board and Head of EMD Millipore s Bioscience Business Unit at Millipore Corporation. Mr. DiVincenzo served as Vice President and President of Bioscience Division at Millipore Corp. since January 1, 2009. He served as Vice President of Global Sales and Service of Bioscience Division of Millipore Corp. from July 2006 to December 2008. From January 2005 to June 2006, served as the Bioscience Division's Vice President of Marketing and R&D. From January 2001 to January 2005, he served as Vice President of Marketing and R&D at Millipore's Lab Water Division. Mr. DiVincenzo has more than 20 years of industry experience. He is a visionary leader with a strong track record of building global businesses serving the life science industry. Mr. DiVincenzo joined Millipore in 1994. He serves as a Director of Enzymatics Inc. Mr. DiVincenzo spearheaded the integration and redeployment of the global sales and service teams as part of Millipore's transformational growth. He is a member of the Northeastern's College of Engineering Advisory Board and Board of Directors of the Analytical and Life Science Systems Association (ALSSA). Mr. DiVincenzo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
