ECE PhD Earns Spot at Inaugural ACM AI Leadership Summit
Computer engineering PhD student Amir Taherin has been accepted to present his research at the first annual ACM AI Leadership Summit Doctoral Consortium, which is a dedicated day of mentorship, networking, and career development for doctoral students. Co-advised by Professors David Kaeli and Yanzhi Wang, Taherin was recognized for his academic excellence and leadership potential in the field of embedded and edge platforms. His paper, “Edge AI as Trustworthy Infrastructure: Predictable, Efficient Inference Beyond the Datacenter,” addresses critical deployment challenges for large language models and robotics on resource-constrained devices.
