ECE Professor Fu and PhD Student Receive Best Paper Award At Conference
Professor Yun Raymond Fu and his student, PhD Candidate Zhengming Ding, have been given a best paper award at the SPIE Defense and Security Symposium, Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) conference XXVII, 2016.
The award winning paper is titled Deep transfer learning for automatic target classification: MWIR to LWIR, (9844-8). Professor Fu and his student collaborated on the paper with Nasser M. Nasrabadi of West Virginia University.
Professor Fu is the director of the Synergetic Media Learning Lab.
