Ganguly Receives NASA Grant for Deep Learning Related to Earth Sciences
CEE Associate Professor, Auroop Ganguly secured a grant from NASA, through its contractor Bay Area Environmental Research Institute (BAERI). This represents the latest in a series of grants awarded to Ganguly's Sustainability and Data Sciences Laboratory (SDS Lab).
Funding will contribute to developing machine learning approaches for the earth sciences, improving satellite and earth systems data through advances in estimation, forecasting and modeling of the earth and its climate
