Professor Matthew Eckelman wins 2013 Laudise Young Researcher Prize

Civil and Environmental Engineering Assistant Professor Matthew Eckelman was selected to receive the 2013 Laudise Young Researcher Prize by the International Society for Industrial Ecology.

This prestigious international award is given for outstanding achievements in industrial ecology by a young researcher. Prof. Eckelman is recognized for his significant research in the areas of life-cycle assessment of materials, products, services, and systems; his research on the environmental impacts of metals; and his work in understanding and integrating policy related to new technologies and infrastructure developments. Congratulations to Prof. Eckelman for this distinguished honor!
