SUMMARY:Digital Marketing Strategy and Analytics Workshop with Dr. Jane Gu
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Jane Gu will lead a structured workshop: Digital Marketing Strategy and Analytics on Thursday\, December 5th from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM in Raytheon Amphitheater. Jane Gu obtained her Ph.D. degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business and is now an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Connecticut. She has taught digital marketing classes at the undergraduate\, MBA\, and executive levels at the University of Connecticut. \nThe Digital Marketing Strategy and Analytics workshop introduces key metrics to measure firm performance in online marketing and social media. There will also be a discussion on how to use such analytics to aid the firm’s design of digital marketing strategies. A brief case study is included to provide attendants hands-on experience. Students will gain a better understanding of how to apply digital marketing strategies to a career in business\, as well as engineering. Please bring your laptop and ensure that it is fully charged before the workshop. DESCRIPTION:The Galante Engineering Business program will be hosting a speaker on Thursday\, October 17 from 6:00-7:30pm in Raytheon Amphitheater. \nNancy Zupick\, the manager of Arena Simulation Consulting Services at Rockwell Automation. She will be giving a talk about the temperament required to be successful in a consulting career. Ms. Zupick is based out of Coraopolis\, Pennsylvania. She has been working with discrete event simulation for over twenty-two years and has worked on countless simulation projects across various industries. Ms. Zupick is the co-author of the Simulation with Arena textbook. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Industrial Engineering.
