About

Tracy Carter holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and oversees the College of Engineering Communication Lab (CommLab). She has been a teaching professor for more than 10 years, and currently teaches Lab and Process Safety in Chemical Engineering. Prior to receiving her degree, she worked in R&D designing medical devices for the treatment of pain and Parkinson’s disease. Outside of education and mentoring, she has over 15 years of experience in technical communications. Tracy also serves as a peer reviewer for AICHE, ASEE conference papers and articles for Chemical Process Safety Progress.
