Bicylce Priority Lanes in Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City installed a Bicycle Priority Lane in Fall, 2008, using green carpet coloring (4 ft wide) to delineate a bicycling zone in the middle of a travel lane on 200 South between Main St. and State St. to overcome a 1-block gap in an otherwise continuous bike lane. Locally, it doesn't have a name; it's been called "sharrows," a "shared lane markings", and "a bike lane."
