For registration is CLOSED. You may register for the 3rd AAWE Workshop (registration fee) and pay by credit card. Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express accepted. You also have the option to pay by Electronic Check. (Note: The checking or savings account must be drawn on a U.S.A. domestic bank or credit union). Registration fee will cover: two breakfasts and all coffee breaks (on 8/13 and 8/14), two lunches (on 8/13 and 8/14), one conference dinner (8/13) and one ice-breaker (8/12). Bursaries will be available to students, submitting a short-paper and making a presentation. Non-members are invited to become members to enjoy discounted fees (for memberships, www.aawe.org).
REGISTRATION FEES
LOGISTICS and HOTEL RESERVATION Please read carefully the details for making your hotel reservation at the special rate Overnight accommodation has been secured at a discounted rate in the resort ($159/night + taxes) for a standard (two-bed) room. For reservations the hotel must be directly contacted at least 30 days in advance. All participants are responsible for making their own reservations by calling the group reservations office of the Hyannis Resort and Conference Center at (866) 828-9111 or (508) 775-7775.
Individuals must state they are part of the "American Association for Wind Engineering block rooms". All reservations must be secured by a one night deposit, plus current 11.7% MA tax. Occupancy room tax, per room via a valid American Express, Visa or MasterCard number with an expiration date, or a check is acceptable.

If an individual reservation is cancelled eight days or more prior to arrival, the deposit is refunded, less $15.00 service charge and a cancellation number is obtained. If an individual reservation is cancelled seven days or less prior to arrival, or the guest does not arrive on the specified dates, the reservation is cancelled for all nights and the entire deposit will be forfeited. TRANSPORTATION to/from BOSTON LOGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NEW)
The distance by car from Boston Logan to the workshop hotel is about 1.5 hours (google map). For transportation to/from the airport there are three options:
1) A public bus, which leaves from the arrival platforms located in each terminal of Logan Airport and arrives at Hyannis Transportation Center. The bus company is Plymouth and Brockton, http://www.p-b.com/. Telephone: 508.746.0378. The distance from the Hyannis Transportation Center to the hotel is a few miles (by cab).
The latest schedule may be found here (link); please refer to the company website for any last-minute changes to the schedule. There is approximately one bus every hour, depending on week-days vs. Sundays. The bus makes intermediate stops and the ride is about 2 hours. The cost is $25 one way or $45 round trip (for adults). At Logan, the ticket may be purchased on the bus from the driver (cash only).
2) Limo taxi service from Logan Airport to Hyannis. One good option is provided by "CapeCar" company. Information may be found here: http://www.capecarandlimo.com/. The rate is $150 (one way, gratuity not included). Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-548-2688, at least two days in advance. All major credit cards are accepted for the reservation.
3) Rental car - All major car rental companies may be found at Logan Airport. For reservations, the list and telephone numbers of the companies may be found here:
