About Our Research
The Multiscale Thermal Fluids Laboratory focuses on thermal-fluid problems ranging from the nanoscale to the macroscale over a wide spectrum of applications. The overarching theme of the group is to bridge different lengthscales, integrating nano/microscale fluidic and transport understanding and solutions into macroscale phenomena and applications.
We conduct research in areas such as microfluidics, water desalination, nanopolymeric surfaces, microelectronics cooling, drag reduction, and novel optical diagnostics. If any of these areas interest you, we encourage you to reach out.
