BostonInno’s 25 Under 25 Award

Surya Sai Brahmendra Ramoju, MS’24, data analytics engineering, who launched a company to create a social media platform that provides a safe and supportive community for students, was recognized by the BostonInno 25 Under 25 as an entrepreneur and innovator.


Surya Sai Brahmendra Ramoju, MS’24, data analytics engineering, was recognized as a BostonInno 25 Under 25 for 2024 as an innovator and entrepreneur for the launch of Finder @ Social.

Finder @ Social offers a social media platform that prioritizes privacy, security, and meaningful connections among students seeking academic support, networking, and if needed, mental health support. Leveraging advanced data analytics and AI, Finder @ Social also personalizes user experiences while ensuring a safe, supportive community.

He recently received a 2024 Alpha Fund Award from Northeastern’s Center for Entrepreneurship Education to support his new company. He is a member of Northeastern’s Lux. Veritas. Virtus. society and the Huntington 100. He also was a member of the College of Engineering student team that placed second in the 2024 Designing Actionable Solutions for a Secure Homeland (DASSH) competition.

He says that lessons learned on his co-ops are informing his leadership of Finder @ Social. As a co-op, he worked as a data scientist and AI engineer at Autism Health, where he leveraged AI to develop innovative healthcare solutions.

“True innovation is not just about creating something new but about making something better,” Surya says.
