Northeastern’s Sigma Xi Chapter Recognized for Excellence
Northeastern University’s student chapter of Sigma Xi, The International Scientific Research Honor Society, was recognized as a 2024 Student Chapter of Excellence. The group also received a Chapter Program of Excellence Award for its Research Immerse Program. Madeline Szoo, E’25, chemical engineering and biochemistry, is the chapter’s president. Award finalists were selected by regional and constituency directors based on chapter annual reports, with winners chosen by the Sigma Xi Committee on Qualifications and Membership.
