The second grant, from the Improving Capability Evaluation RFP, funds a project dedicated to evaluating AI agent safety in high-stake decision-making scenarios.

Open Philanthropy is a grant-making organization that aims to use its resources to help others as much as it can. Since 2011, it has recommended over $4 billion in grants, using rigorous criteria like importance, neglectedness, and tractability to select causes and maximize the impact of its resources.
