Graduate Celebration

Monday, May 5th

On Monday, May 5, each COE Graduate celebration will consist of the graduate procession, dean’s welcome, and name-calling/crossing-the-stage moment with official graduation photos.  After the graduate crosses the stage, they are welcome to remain at the ceremony, or they can directly proceed to the Husky Hospitality Hub (at Cabot Center) with their guests to continue their graduation experience with refreshments, music, and photo opportunities. The Husky Hospitality Hub will be open for 1.5 hours after the end of each College celebration.

Seating in Matthews Arena is unreserved and on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited– see FAQs for more information. Overflow space is available at the Husky Hospitality Hub in the Cabot Center.

Key Dates to Note

  • Apply to graduate application closes: Friday, February 21, 2024
    • All students planning on graduating in 2025 regardless of if they plan to attend a graduation ceremony must apply to graduate with the registrar!
    • If you missed this deadline, reach out to your academic advisor.
  • Cap and Gown orders must be placed by March 14, 2025.
  • Celebration registration closes April 2, 2025
    • Registering ensures students can attend the event, obtain guest tickets, and order cap & gown.
