COE Galante Program Intro to Blockchain & Applications

Please join the Galante Engineering Business Program in welcoming Northeastern students and BlockBeam co-founders Bennett Thompson and Drew Cousin for a presentation in which they will teach the basics of Blockchain Technology with different applications among different industries. They will also present on BlockBeam, who’s mission is to develop immersive experiences that make candidates standout and prepare them for their launch into blockchain/fintech careers, while partnering with leading organizations to create a two-sided model of Web3 technology education and experience-based career advancement. The two will also share opportunities to join BlockBeam and get involved in an immersive summer program with applied learning and networking with professionals across the industry. Bennett Thompson (LinkedIn) is a 2nd year Undergraduate at Northeastern studying Data Science and FinTech. Bennett is the co-founder of the NEU Blockchain Club and BlockBeam. He serves as Co-Founder & Co-VP at NEU Blockchain Organization, and has been named to BostInno 25 Under 25.

Drew Cousin (LinkedIn) is a 4th year Undergraduate at Northeastern studying Finance and FinTech. Drew is the co-founder of BlockBeam and on the Boston Blockchain Association Board.
