Awarded for Service Learning
Senior Academic Specialist Susan Freeman received the President's Volunteer Service Award for her continued commitment to the Citizen Schools through their apprenticeship model. She provides opportunities for COE undergraduates to participate in Service Learning in the local community, sharing their engineering skillsets with middle school students.
Citizen Schools is dedicated to helping all children discover and achieve their dreams.
