The Black Engineering Student Society received several awards at the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Annual Convention:

Courtney Johnson won the Fulfilling the Legacy Scholarship, a national scholarship awarded to NSBE members who epitomize NSBE’s mission
With approximately 20,000 student NSBE members nationwide, our student chapter was recognized nationally as the National Medium Size Chapter of the Year
Regional Recognition Award for our Technical Outreach, Community Help (TORCH) program
