BioE Alumni Spotlight: Solomon Mensah, Worchester Polytechnic Institute
Assistant Professor Solomon Mensah obtained a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering from City College of New York and a PhD in bioengineering in 2019 from Northeastern University. He was born in Ghana and is the CEO of Therapeutic Innovations Inc., which develops lifesaving medical devices for low to middle-income countries.
Currently, he works at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the biomedical engineering department as an assistant professor.
“I teach and have developed courses in medical device development for undergraduate and graduate level studies at WPI with the goal of providing an experiential learning experience for students at all levels.”
