Orthopedic Biomaterials

SFB’s Orthopedic Biomaterials SIG Chair, Bingyun Li, PhD, and SFB’s Past President and current Board Member, Thomas J. Webster, MS, PhD, have co-edited two books on “Orthopedic Biomaterials.” These two books were published in March and August 2018 and are among only a few books including contributions from clinicians, industry, and academia to provide a truly comprehensive look at biomaterials and bone implants. These books highlight the recent advances in orthopedic biomaterials including reducing infection, developing in situ sensors, promoting bone growth, nanotechnology, polymers, and biomimetics. – Springer International Publishing.
