CEE Student to Speak at University Convocation
Senior CEE student Julieta Moradei will be one of two student speakers at the University Convocation at 10:00 a.m. on September 8. This is a great honor for Julieta and our program. Julieta is active in EWB, SWE, Chi Epsilon, and Tau Beta Pi, including leading the challenging work of fundraising for several of these organizations. She has received the 2014 NU President’s Award and national scholarships from Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi. She has enjoyed co-ops at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, and is the recent winner of Northeastern’s coolest co-op video. She is also a top scholar and has been an outstanding undergraduate researcher within our program. Julieta is a strong advocate for our program and frequently participates in recruiting events, working to engage our younger students and show them the great opportunities available in civil and environmental engineering: speaking at this convocation is certainly a high point in her dedicated activities within our program.
