ChE Student Awarded German Academic Exchange Service Research Grant

Myra Afzal

Chemical Engineering student Myra Afzal, BS/MS’20, was awarded a one-year research grant by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). This grant is awarded to doctoral or post-masters students doing research at a German university or research institute. I will be working at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research on bioreactor engineering for sustainable chemical production and organic waste reutilization using microorganisms.
