Double Paper Win at ACL 2024
ECE/Khoury Assistant Professor Weiyan Shi received two awards for papers at the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL 2024) annual meeting in Bangkok, Thailand.
“The Earth Is Flat Because…: Investigating LLMs’ Belief Towards Misinformation via Persuasive Conversation” received the Outstanding Paper Award and “How Johnny Can Persuade LLMs To Jailbreak Them: Rethinking Persuasion To Challenge AI Safety by Humanizing LLMs” received the Best Social Impact Paper Award because of its potential for significant positive societal impact.
