ECE Distinguished Speaker Albert P. Pisano: How Engineering is a Force for the Public Good

pisanoOn March 27, Professor Albert P. Pisano, Dean of the Jacbos School of Engineering at UCSD, delivered an ECE Distinguished Speaker Seminar entitled “Engineering as a Force for the Public Good.” Prof. Pisano described a vision in which advances in engineering yield a variety of world abundances—from fresh water and food to energy and manufacturing.

Prof. Pisano is additionally the Walter J. Zable Chair in Engineering at UCSD and serves on the faculty of the departments of mechanical and aerospace engineering and electrical and computer engineering.
