Eckelman Receives National Endowment for the Humanities Grant
CEE Assistant Professor Matt Eckelman is part of a team that has received funding from the National Endowment for Humanities (NEH). This two-year grant to the Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (FAIC) supports a national “Alliance for Response” (AFR) initiative to connect local cultural heritage institutions with their emergency professionals. The grant supports existing efforts of two-dozen networks through webinar programming and online resources and will offer regional training opportunities to those involved in protecting a wide range of cultural institutions in the nation’s capital and beyond.
