Engineering Management Team Takes Third Place at ASEM Case Competition

Two engineering management student teams, Team 1 and Team Alpha, competed in the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) Student Case Competition, with Team 1, advised by MIE Assistant Teaching Professor Manish Ranjit, placing third in “The People’s Choice Award” for the Live Best Case Presentation Competition.
Team 1 team members are Vinit Joshi, MS’25, Rakshit Vahi, MS’24, Harshita Puri, MS’25, Venkata Kishan Madhav Grandhi, MS’25, and Omkar Deepak Gaikwad, MS’25. Also competing at the event was Team Alpha, advised by MIE Associate Teaching Professor Himlona Palikhe, which included student members Chirag Prashanth, MS’25, Khyati Ajay Tandon, MS’24, Boopesh Mohanraj, MS’25, and Sneha Vaidyanathan, MS’26. Both teams also participated in the Virtual Best Case Analysis Competition.
