Hajjar Honored for SEI Leadership
Concluding his term as president of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI), CEE University Distinguished and CDM Smith Professor and Chair Jerome Hajjar was recognized for his advocacy to integrate sustainability, resilience, and equity into all aspects of design. Hajjar explained that during his tenure, SEI led initiatives like the “Towards Zero Carbon” workshop and established new awards to recognize outstanding contributions to the field.
