Koutsopoulos Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

CEE Professor Haris Koutsopoulos was awarded the Traffic Simulation Lifetime Achievement Award by the Transportation Research Board. He has been a pioneer and a leader in the field of traffic simulation modeling for over 20 years. The most notable contributions he has made include the development of two influential simulation models, MITSIMLab and DynaMIT, as well as research on driving behavior models that are embedded in these tools. He has also worked on BusMezzo and SimMETRO, which are transit and subway simulations.
