Ostadabbas Wins 2024 Cade Prize for Inventivity
ECE Associate Professor Sarah Ostadabbas received the 2024 Cade Prize for Inventivity in the technology category for AiWover, a groundbreaking spin-off from her lab that uses AI to transform visual monitoring of babies and toddlers and enhances both safety and developmental tracking.
This award, named after Dr. Robert Cade, the lead inventor of Gatorade, demonstrates the impact of Ostadabbsas’s research and highlights the need for AI-driven childcare solutions. The Cade Prize honors inventors and entrepreneurs who creatively tackle significant challenges in their field and the awards ceremony took place on Sept. 25, 2024, at the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention in Gainesville, Florida.
