Outstanding Thermodynamics
Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Professor Hameed Metghalchi was selected to receive the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Edward F. Obert award for outstanding paper on thermodynamics.
Professor Metghalchi’s research interests include fundamentals of combustion and non-equilibrium thermodynamics. At Northeastern, he currently leads two courses, Thermodynamics and General Thermodynamics. Professor Metghalchi is also affiliated with the American Society of Engineering Educators and the Combustion Institute, among others.
