MES/CEE Associate Professor Samuel Muñoz was featured in the EurekAlert article “Panama Canal may face frequent extreme water lows in coming decades” for leading the study that used a computational model to project that the Panama Canal will face increasingly frequent and severe low water levels by the end of the century unless greenhouse gas emissions are aggressively mitigated.
