PhD Student Places First at AAAS 2025 Student E-Poster Competition

Aleksei Krotov, PhD’25, bioengineering, advised by COS/ECE University Distinguished Professor Dagmar Sternad, received first place in the 2025 American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Annual Meeting Student E-Poster Competition in the Brain and Behavior category. Krotov’s winning poster was “Control and Embodiment of Complex Tools: Hitting a Target with a Bullwhip.” The AAAS Student E-poster competition recognizes the individual efforts of students who are actively working toward an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral-level degree.
