Prof. Tillman’s Presentation Receives Award
At the 2011 American Society for Engineering Education Conference for Industry and Education Collaboration (ASEE/CIEC) to be held in San Antonio this February, Professor Robert Tillman will receive the 2010 ASEE/CEED Best Presenter Award for his presentation Co-op and Internship Programs: Positive Strategies for Challenging Times. As part of a panel presentation on how co-op can better survive in this economic downturn, Professor Tillman spoke on the importance of co-op professionals controlling and managing their own co-op data, teaching students to be their own best advocates when searching for a job, and the importance of coordinators belonging to an engineering professional organization.
