Professor Klosterman to Chair ASEE Division on Engineering Leadership
Gordon Engineering Leadership Industry Relations & Engineering Leadership Director & Professor of Practice in Engineering Leadership Steven Klosterman was elected as Program Chair of the Engineering Leadership Division of American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) at the 2016 International Forum in New Orleans on June 25th. The conference brings together engineering professionals from academia and industry from around the globe who are engaged in novel engineering education initiatives to information on successful models, experiences and best practices.
As Program Chair, Professor Klosterman will lead and moderate discussions and workshops that promote the integration of leadership development and leadership thinking into engineering education. Areas of focus and interest include change leadership, assessment of leadership development in engineering and technology students, and cross-cultural issues in engineering leadership.
