Professor Mi and PhD Students Win Best Paper at IPCCC’17
ECE Professor Ningfang Mi and two of her PhD students, Zhengyu Yang and Janki Bhimani, won the best paper award at the 36th IEEE International Performance Computing and Communications Conference (IPCCC’17) in San Diego, California.
The paper, titled “H-NVMe: A Hybrid Framework of NVMe-based Storage System in Cloud Computing Environment,” was also written in conjunction with Samsung and the University of California.
According to conference organizers, this event is a leading IEEE conference in the areas of communication systems and computer performance. The IPCCC functions as a setting to encourage high-quality papers of theoretical and experimental research areas from industry, government and academic sources.
