Upmanyu Wins STIR Grant

Associate Professor Moneesh Upmanyu received his PhD from the University of Michigan. His research interests include materials science and engineering, computational material science, kinetic phenomena in materials and engineering physics.

MIE Associate Professor Moneesh Upmanyu's team won a $50K Short-Term Innovative Research (STIR) grant from the Army Research Office. This grant designs next-generation nanocrystalline metal alloys by engineering solute-interface interactions.
