Vladimir Novotny Selected as 2012 Kappe by AAEE

Professor Emeritus Vladimir Novotny has been selected as the 2012 Kappe Lecturer by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. This distinguished honor is awarded in memory of Stanley E. Kappe, a long-time practitioner in water and wastewater systems. As the Kappe Lecturer, Prof. Novotny will provide lectures at different venues on the topics of "Closing the Water Cycle, Recovering Energy and Resources in the Cities of the Future," and "Prevention and Remediation of Advanced (Hyper) Etrophication of Multipurpose Impoundments – A Case for Integrated Watershed Management." These lectures complement Prof. Novotny ongoing research on Cities of the Future. Congratulations to Vladimir!
