Reinforcement Learning and High-Performance Computing
About
Dr. Suhabe Bugrara’s research focuses on reinforcement learning, neuro-symbolic AI, hardware accelerators, and distributed training. His work explores how intelligent systems can improve their capabilities while operating efficiently at scale.
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He teaches courses on Self-Improving AI and High-Performance Computing for AI.
Dr. Bugrara has also founded and led technology companies in cybersecurity and healthcare. He co-founded State Space Systems, a cybersecurity company serving the decentralized-finance ecosystem, and Wise OR, a healthcare technology company focused on improving the operational efficiency of surgical care. He served as chief technology officer of both companies.
