Later she was promoted to the role of Financial & Grants Administrator at BU’s School of Medicine. In her role, she worked to support faculty and their diversified portfolio of research activities. Additionally, during her time at BU, she worked closely with various university offices to ensure that research proposals submissions were in compliance with agency, federal governments, and University policies and regulations.

In her spare time, Josie volunteers as a Literacy Tutor at Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts. She speaks six languages (English, French, Italian, Chinee, Portuguese, and Spanish) and loves hiking and traveling with her husband.
