About
Dan Koloski is the Head of Learning Programs and Professor of the Practice at Northeastern University’s Roux Institute in Portland, Maine, where he oversees all degree and non-degree learning programs. In addition to his leadership role, he collaborates with the Roux partnerships team to design and deliver custom educational programs for industry partners.
Koloski holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves as an adjunct faculty member with the MGEN unit in addition to his faculty appointment in the Analytics program within Northeastern’s College of Professional Studies. Koloski is also a faculty affiliate of Northeastern’s Center for Technology Management and Digital Leadership. His expertise spans analytics, data-driven decision-making, IT operations, cybersecurity, software development and the enterprise software industry.
With more than two decades of experience in the IT and software industry, Koloski has held technical and business leadership roles across both large enterprises and startups. Most recently, he was Vice President of Product Management and Business Development at Oracle. Before that, he served as CTO and Director of Strategy for the web business unit at Empirix, which he helped spin out and sell to Oracle.
A longtime resident of Portland, Koloski is an avid sailor and skier and remains actively involved in the local music and theater scene. He is also the founder and leader of the Roux Institute’s “Department of Music,” a student/faculty/staff choral group.
