About

Georgia Looney has been with Northeastern University since 2016 in various roles in Career Development and the College of Engineering. She joined the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering co-op team as an Assistant Co-op Coordinator in 2019. Georgia advises undergraduate and graduate students in the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Research and Engineering Management programs to help them connect and apply their academic learning with meaningful co-op experiences. In addition, she develops relationships with employers to identify co-op opportunities for students and provide Northeastern’s employer partners with knowledgeable resources. Georgia earned both her MBA, with a concentration in Organizational Behavior and her BA in Education and Human Development from Boston College. She previously worked in human resources roles in engineering and financial services firms.
