About
Dr. Rajiv Shridhar is an accomplished technology leader with over three decades of experience in strategic IT management, research computing, and information security. He currently serves as the Senior Director for Strategic Technologies & Information Security Officer at MIT Sloan School of Management, where he oversees advanced research computing initiatives, cybersecurity strategies, and IT infrastructure to support innovation and academic excellence.
Before joining MIT Sloan, Dr. Shridhar spent over 27 years at Northeastern University, holding various leadership positions, including Director of Systems & Production Services. He also continues to serve as an Adjunct Professor, where he has been instrumental in developing graduate-level courses in data networking, information systems, and business technology.
With expertise spanning high-performance computing, data security, and IT strategy, Dr. Shridhar has played a key role in bridging academia and industry, ensuring technological advancements align with institutional goals. His passion for education and technology leadership continues to shape the next generation of IT professionals.
