Dr. Wallace is a recognized leader at the intersection of Technology, Innovation, and Academia. Previously, during his tenure at Liberty Mutual’s Global Private Investments, he served as an Executive, Director of Engineering, and Member of the Board of Directors for several Private Equity backed Companies.

Before his investment experience, he had award winning experience at several large corporations in both Aviation and Energy, including Delta Air Lines, General Electric Aircraft Engines, ExxonMobil Upstream Research Corporation, Hess, and Southwestern Energy. His experience includes numerous international work assignments, across North America, Europe, Western/Central/Southeast Asia, and Australia.

Dr. Wallace has over 10 years of Industry Research experience, managed numerous Industry sponsored Academic research projects, has received several patents, several peer-reviewed journal publications, and has served as a NASA Graduate Fellow and Graduate Researcher for the Air Force Research Laboratory, NASA, and General Electric.

Dr. Wallace graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s degree in Operations Research from the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, and a Master’s and Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering specializing in Aeropropulsion and Power.

He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts,Texas, and the NCEES International Registry, an FAA Instrument-rated Private Pilot and Commercial Drone Pilot, an NACD Governance Fellow, and an AEE Certified Energy Manager and Green Building Engineer. As a student he was a National Honor Society recipient, served as the General Electric Campus Ambassador, and held leadership positions in both the Briaerean and Tau Beta Pi honor societies.
