Wuping (Simon) Wang is an experienced instructor with a strong background in data management and technology. He holds an MS in Computer Science and has completed Ph.D. coursework. Certified by both Microsoft and Oracle, Simon has had a diverse career working in various roles such as Data Modeler, Software Development Engineer, Database Designer, Cloud Engineer, Production DBA, Software Technical Architect, and IT Director. He has contributed to leading companies, including Microsoft, Starbucks, AT&T Wireless, professional firms, and IBM. In addition to doing advanced data work related to both relational and NoSQL technologies in industry, Simon teaches graduate courses in data management, data architecture, and data engineering.
