About
Salman Yousaf is a skilled software engineer based in Seattle, WA, with a strong background in data processing, machine learning pipelines, and distributed systems. He is currently working at Google, where he innovates on developing and improving data processing pipeline infrastructure which powers cutting-edge artificial intelligence. Prior to this, he was at Argonne National Laboratory, where he led the development and deployment of machine learning models for forecasting electric vehicle charging demand.
As part of his prior experiences at Google and Lululemon Athletica, he focused on improving service availability and scaling system capacities. His experience also includes work at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he developed data processing pipelines that improved data quality and processing times.
He holds a Master of Science in Applied Data Science from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Salman is proficient in multiple programming languages and technologies, including C++, Java, Python, and various cloud computing platforms. He is committed to leveraging his technical expertise in solving today’s difficult technical problems through innovation and engineering.
