Woolston Receives B&B Daniel I.C Wang Award

ChE Assistant Professor Ben Woolston is the recipient of the 2021 Daniel I.C. Wang Award. The Award is sponsored by Biotechnology & Bioengineering and initiated in 2008 to honor a younger member of their dynamic community. In order to be eligible for this award, applicants must be:
- Published in Biotechnology and Bioengineering in the last 3 years
- 35 years old or younger, or under 8 years from granting of the Ph.D. degree
- Has shown a sustained commitment to the journal B&B and the community it serves
- Winner is expected to attend ACS-BIOT to receive their award and present a lecture
The award is presented annually at the National ACS Meeting at a session of the BIOT and Professor Woolston will be presenting “Establishing Eubacterium limosum as a model methylotrophic acetogen”.
